Russ King led the field to the initial green flag, and looked to add a third Uncle Sam trophy to his case. However, Max Blair had other ideas and made his way around King in the first five laps and then dealt with a hard charging Tyler Erb.

Blair and Erb partook in a hard fought battle starting at the 12 lap mark that saw Erb pass Blair for the lead and give it right back. Once back out in front, Blair simply drove away from the field and found himself in Terry Bowser Excavating Lane as winner of the $3,000 winner’s share.
